3 Questions to Improve Daily Self Awareness

May 03, 2023

I am so excited to share that I going to attend a 3 Day deep meditation retreat where I’ll get a chance to completely decompress, reset my mind and elevate my spiritual growth and connection.

I had been waiting for this experience because sometimes you need to have a longer immersion than just a few minutes of daily meditation for deeper healing and more balance.

Mostly, I’ll be disconnected from social media personally, but my team might post some content/videos to keep the momentum going.

I really felt the need to create more balance because as an entrepreneur I tend to overthink and also in general I use a lot of intellectual and emotional energy to pour into my purpose-aligned business.

I am sure you can relate to that.

So, in today’s letter, I am going to focus on “Cultivating Balance” and I will share with you three practices that I personally use everyday that had helped me sustain my energy levels, emotional well-being and higher productivity along with plenty of fun :)

You’d often find me saying that If you are not having fun in life, you are wasting the whole opportunity of being human.

So, prioritize FUN and joyful state of mind.šŸ’›

And, when you create a balanced life style, you find multiple ways to create deeply connecting experiences and more fun in your life, all along building your HIGHEST career success in your profession or business.

So, let me break down the 3 top strategies and practices that I use to keep me grounded and energized.

1. Zoom In, Zoom Out

I have learned this practice hard way but once I realized the value of it, I never let go of it.

More than a practice, it is actually a MINDSET RESET.

So, what does it really mean to zoom in and zoom out?

In simple words, it means you should know when you need to be ultra focused on your work/goals and when to step out and drop all the need to control the outcomes.

For eg., when you plant an orange tree, you need to focus on clearing the land, removing weeds, digging up the soil, fertilizing it, sowing the seeds and watering it. You zoomed in and did everything you needed to.

Now you won’t sit there day and night watching it sprout, you’ll simply ZOOM OUT because you trust the process of life. You know that with the right environmental conditions, seeds will sprout and grow out into a plant and eventually into a tree.

Similarly, in your daily life, you need to act with great intention and force and then step out. Don’t overthink about the outcomes, you did you best and you believe in the Universal intelligence and you can simply ALLOW things to happen.

If you can do this even 50% of the times, you’ll find yourself in a much relaxed mental space which then leads to more creativity and productivity.

2. Three Questions to ask yourself each Morning

I know for some people it’s hard to build a habit of journaling or keeping a log of their daily emotions/experiences. I have simplified the daily journaling with only three prompts that anyone can do within a few minutes and most importunely, IT IS ACTIONABLE.

So, here are these simple questions that are going to make you think and act.

  • What action can I take today to make myself physically healthy?
  • What action can I take today to make myself emotionally uplifted and joyful?
  • What action can I take today to accomplish my most important work goal?

That’s all!

This is a brilliant way to DIRECT YOUR MIND to focus on what you can do and the outcomes you consciously want to experience.

Remember, You can never control your mind, you can only direct it… and, by choosing to focus on self care, we become more self aware, grounded and balanced.

3. Daily Solitude for 30 minutes minimum

Silence is the best medicine for mind.

Being in solitude gives you space to connect with your deeper emotions, fears and insecurities. If you never ask yourself what you truly want, you can never provide that for you.

Often times, when people are alone, they are glued to their phones, addicted to scrolling feeds and aimlessly watching content that is not adding any value in their life except increasing more dissatisfaction and stress.

Solitude refers to self reflective moments when you are in sync with the truth in your heart and when you can find more connection with your inner voice and your intuition.

I use naturešŸŒæ as my refuge to find moments of solitude. As I walk on lush green trails, soaking in serenity and fragrance of nature, I feel a sense of bliss within often making me feel much gratitude of just being alive and have the amazing experience of present moment.

I am sure you can find solitude in your own ways, may be through nature or while painting šŸŒˆ or reading or simply meditating.

It doesn’t matter what leads there but you must find a time for self-connection to prioritize your life goals so you can LET GO of what’s not serving you.

Balance also requires removing what’s not required so that you can add more of what will help you achieve more success and abundance in your life.

Conclusion:

I am quite hopeful that these simple yet powerful strategies will help you tremendously if you stay consistent with them and make them a part of your lifestyle.

Nothing exceptional will happen overnight but with slow and steady consistent shifts, you will be able to unlock your highest potential for the highest good in this world.šŸ’«

From material success to big laurels, all things will come to you when you start to come back to yourself.

I hope you are ready to meet your highest self some day, and your journey begins NOW
